While the Library is closed during this pandemic, you can get an e-Card that will allow you access to all electronic materials, such as eBooks, eAudiobooks and streaming movies and music. Please fill out and send the form below. There are limited staff working remotely to issue these cards. Someone will be in touch as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and for your support of WCPL.
Patrons must have a library card to check out material and may apply for a card at any of the library’s locations. Patrons of the Wayne County Public Library can use their library card at 44 libraries in Northeast Ohio through CLEVNET, a group of libraries linked by an automation system owned and operated by the Cleveland Public Library. (Cards obtained from any of the CLEVNET libraries will also work at all other libraries in the CLEVNET system, including WCPL.)
You may fill out an application for a new library card at any of our library locations, or preregister online and have a card waiting for you at your selected library location. Cards must be picked up in person with proof of identification.
Applicants 18 years of age or older and the parent or legal guardian signing for a minor’s library card must present identification with a current mailing address such as a driver’s license, state ID or checkbook when picking up the Library card at the branch selected below.
Cards are available for individuals of all ages. A parent or legal guardian must present identification and sign a library card application for any minor child. The child must accompany the adult at the time the application is made. The signer is responsible for all materials borrowed on the child’s card.
